G'Day. My name is Adam Brown. I work in the software industry and have a focus on IBM software and technologies. In particular I spend a lot of my time helping organisations to improve their collaboration and business processes thru the utilisation of technology. I have a passion for using software to improve communication, the capture of knowledge, and improving business processes.
I am the Executive Director of Technology and Business Development for ISW, a fantastic Australian company based on Melbourne, Sydney, and Hobart. ISW is a Premier IBM Business Partner.
I studied Computer Science at the University of Tasmania and graduated in 1996. Since then I have completed a Masters of Business and Techology with the University of NSW as well as various industry technical certifications. I started with ISW in 1996 as a Software Engineer with a focus on Lotus Notes (version 3 back then). I have worked with many different clients from small business to very large enterprise and government organisation. What I enjoy most with the work is helping these organisations to work better and having a positive impact on their objectives.
Away from work I have a wonderful wife Jayne, and a absolutely wonderful daughter Molly. Most of my spare time is spent with the family and our friends.
